TATA Consultancy Panel Discussion
It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to attend the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Good Growth event as a panelist, joining a community of powerful, driven women dedicated to building sustainable, purpose-driven businesses. The TCS Good Growth Network is an inspiring initiative that offers vital support, resources, and opportunities to female entrepreneurs, helping them scale their ventures and thrive in today’s dynamic business landscape.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the panel discussion on ‘Building for Growth,’ where I had the honor of speaking alongside two exceptional women: Priya Setti, Global Head of Business Transformation at HSBC Asset Management, and Cherriss Manzi, Founder and CEO of Ziyx. Together, we unpacked some of the most pressing themes that women in business face today, from representation and resilience to vision-setting and strategic growth.
Here are a few key takeaways that deeply resonated with me:
1. The Power of Voice and Representation
We spoke about how crucial it is for women to confidently assert their voices and claim space in industries and boardrooms where they have historically been underrepresented. This isn’t just about personal development — it's about creating a ripple effect, empowering others to step forward and helping reshape the business world to be more inclusive, equitable, and reflective of diverse perspectives.
2. Embracing the Pace of the Journey
Entrepreneurship is often glamorized as fast-paced and relentless, but this panel reminded us of the importance of pacing ourselves and finding balance. Sustainable growth requires moments of pause, reflection, and celebration of the small wins along the way. It’s a long journey — and one that should be fulfilling, not just productive.
3. Confidence is Non-Negotiable
One of the most powerful messages shared was about owning your vision — believing in it wholeheartedly, even when it feels risky or unconventional. Confidence isn’t just about self-belief; it’s about drawing others in, inspiring alignment, and building momentum toward the future you envision.
4. The Strength of Connection
This event was a beautiful reminder that we are stronger together. The networking opportunities were rich and authentic, and the energy in the room was nothing short of electric. Surrounding yourself with like-minded, ambitious women who genuinely support one another is not just motivating — it’s game-changing. Collaboration over competition is how we rise.
The entire discussion was insightful, heartfelt, and empowering. Each speaker brought a wealth of experience and authenticity, and the honesty in our conversations made the event incredibly special. We didn’t just speak about business; we spoke about the human side of entrepreneurship — the fears, the faith, the resilience, and the hope that fuels it all.
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to TCS Good Growth for curating such a meaningful event, and to every woman who showed up — whether as a speaker, attendee, or supporter. Your presence, your stories, and your drive are what make spaces like this impactful and essential.
