Karen Emelu Delivers Keynote on AI Leadership at Beyond the Prompt

Karen Emelu recently delivered the keynote address at Beyond the Prompt: AI for Leadership, Careers & Creativity, hosted by Black Girls in Tech in partnership with Werksy, bringing together professionals, founders, creatives and aspiring leaders to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping the future of work.

In her keynote, Karen focused on demystifying AI, moving beyond the headlines to help attendees understand what artificial intelligence really is, why it matters, and how it can be applied intentionally in both professional and everyday contexts.

The session explored practical topics including prompt engineering, everyday AI tools, productivity, creativity, decision-making and career development. Rather than viewing AI as a threat, Karen challenged attendees to see it as a powerful tool that can amplify human potential, unlocking greater efficiency, innovation and impact.
