Project 2% Conference

Last week, on September 2nd, 2023, I had the immense privilege of being invited as a speaker at this year’s Project 2% Conference 2023. It was an incredible experience, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for technology with such an engaged and inspiring audience.

At the event, I had the chance to speak about the variety of career pathways within the tech industry, from coding and development to leadership and innovation. It was amazing to highlight how diverse and dynamic the technology field really is, and how it offers endless possibilities for those who are curious, determined, and ready to make an impact. Tech is not just a career; it’s a continuous journey of learning, problem-solving, and pushing boundaries.

But my message went beyond just technology. I wanted to share a deeper, more personal reflection — the importance of being a light in every space we occupy. As we navigate diverse environments, it’s essential to remain grounded in our values and beliefs, even when those around us may not share the same perspective. It’s in these moments that we have the opportunity to make a true impact by leading with integrity, compassion, and purpose. For me, it’s about reflecting God’s love and principles in everything we do, no matter where we are. ❤️

I’m deeply passionate about helping individuals discover their unique path into technology. The field is so much more than just coding — it’s about innovation, creativity, and constantly evolving to meet new challenges. Diversity is the backbone of tech, and it's precisely this diversity that fosters new ideas and breakthroughs. Everyone’s perspective has value, and this is what makes the tech industry an exciting place to grow and thrive.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Project 2% for providing such an incredible platform for discussion, inspiration, and networking.
